Limanaki Beach is situated approximately 26 km south of Moires and approximately 48 km south of Heraklion. It is a small, secluded cove to the west of Gerokampos beach and south of the village of Tsigkouna. The village of Tsigkouna is a small farming village full of greenhouses for growing vegetables, with a few rooms to let. Limanaki Beach is a small beach with coarse sand and pebbles, which also serves as Tsigouna’s little harbour. The seabed consists of coarse sand and rocks. The beach is completely unorganised and there are no facilities whatsoever. The beach is not very crowded and is mainly favoured by locals.
